From Rating to Impact - Approach and measurement are key
The world of asset management seems divided in two: Active versus passive. This has significant implications for the incorporation of sustainability into that field. The differences can be significant. The approaches of considering sustainability in investors' asset management are always expanding. To what extent can the increasing expectations of clients - and the general public - be fulfilled? Can the degree of implementation with regard to sustainability be determined with the concept of "ESG Impact"?
The focus of this webinar is on the concrete integration of sustainability into portfolio construction with focus on the so-called "ESG impact" and its measurement. The webinar will first present two approaches and discuss their features: Publica with a passive portfolio construction and Finreon with an active (rule-based) approach. Inrate will highlight how sustainability can be measured and SIX will present their approach with the recently launched ESG Indices.
• Which approach - active vs. passive - offers which possibilities and what is the respective scope for implementing ESG?
• What are the experiences gained so far and in terms of acceptance?
• What does it mean in terms of respective objectives and processes?
• Why is impact measurement key and how can it be done?
