Madeleine Guyer has been working for Inrate within INFRAS since 2007. She is specialized in national and international climate policy and development cooperation. She is an expert in aptation to climate change and capacity building in countries of the Global South. She has consulting experience in China, India and Africa. For Inrate she is called in as an expert for climate policy issues and analyses. Before, she did an internship at EcoSecurities in The Hague regarding climate policy after 2012 and future CDM arrangements. She studied geography and environmental sciences at the Universities of Zurich and Bern, with a focus on economic geography, climatology and development cooperation. She graduated with a thesis in the field of monetization of "Ecosystem Services" at the ETH Zurich.
