Climate change is one of the biggest challenges facing governments, companies and investors in the 21st century. However, the information requirements of investors and corporate judges are currently very different. Most companies either do not publish any or only incomplete information on their greenhouse gas emissions. However, investors are becoming increasingly aware that climate risks can adversely affect the operating performance and thus also the value of financial assets.
The quantitative model envIMPACT takes comprehensive input-output data into account and thus helps investors to evaluate such climate risks. It also includes a thorough product analysis. This CO2 assessment allows investors to optimise their risks in this area and identify future investment opportunities.
