Saving... by Saving the Planet?

Centre Info, in collaboration with Utopies and Groupe Caisse d'Epargne, publishes a report on the first CO2 labelling experience of banking products in France. The report analyzes the grades of Caisse d'Epargne's financial products and the practical implications of the evaluation system for the bank and customers.

The project was carried out by Groupe Caisse d'Epargne with the support of Utopies who have co-developed the labelling methodology while Centre Info provided the data on the carbon footprint of the companies analyzed. A panel of stakeholders composed of ADEME, Friends of the Earth, WWF and "Testé pour Vous" have provided their contribution in terms of methodological developments.
