We are always looking to establish new partnerships and develop new approaches to ensure our sound understanding of sustainability.

CSCP – Centre on Sustainable Consumption and Production

 

The CSCP was established in 2005 as a not-for-profit think-tank and "do-tank" from the collaboration between two world-renowned institutions: the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP)and the Wuppertal Institute (WI). Inrate and CSCP co-operate and ensure knowledge transfer on specific and selected topics.

Ethifinance (France)

 

Ethifinance is an independent extra-financial research agency based in France and specialized in corporate social responsibility evaluations. Founded in 2003, and a partner of Inrate since 2005, Ethifinance cooperates with asset managers, pension funds and other investors in order to incorporate environmental, social and governance awareness into their financial management.

 

GIR – Groupe Investissement Responsible (Canada)

 

GIR is a Canadian agency specialized in strategic advisory services providing independent and accurate information on matters related to sustainable development, fiduciary and compliance issues.  GIR is backed by 10 years of experience and has a highly qualified and diverse research team.

 

Green Design Institute (United States)

 

The Green Design Institute (GDI) is part of the Carnegie Mellon University (Pittsburg, USA), a global research university. The GDI’s aim is to make an impact on environmental quality through green design. Inrate is a supporter of the Green Design Institute’s business consortium and thus has priviledged access to the Institute’s researchers for questions related to the input/output model on which is based our climate change analysis.

 

INFRAS (Switzerland)

 

INFRAS is a private, independent research and consulting company for private and public institutions since 1976. Since 2001, INFRAS and Inrate have been united in a close partnership. With its extensive expert knowledge in the area of environmental and social sustainability, INFRAS provides key insights that allow us to be at the forefront of sustainability research and analysis. Through INFRAS, we are able to access the following areas of expertise among others: climate change, renewable energies, energy efficiency, nutrition, infrastructures and health management.

 

IIEDH (Interdisciplinary Institute of Ethics and Human Rights)

 

The mission of IIEDH, an institute of the Fribourg University (Switzerland), is to enable students to acquire knowledge on ethics and human rights issues during their academic studies. IIEDH focus its research activities in the field of cultural rights and business ethics. Particularly in the field of ethics, Inrate is associated with the institute in a project to map sectors and regional sensitiveness to human right issues.

 

SIRIS – Sustainable Investment Research Institute (Australia)

 

Founded in 2000, the Sustainable Investment Research Institute (SIRIS) is a dedicated, specialist research group, providing sustainability investment research and Inrate’s partner since 2002. SIRIS’ research focuses on the Asia-Pacific Region with a team that includes dedicated analysts speaking the local languages and is able to provide seamless global research solutions.

 

Solaron

 

Solaron is a sustainability rating agency headquartered in India with a team of 65 analysts based on the ground in 16 Emerging market countries. Solaron was founded in 2007 and worked for Innovest until its acquisition by RiskMetrics in 2009.

Solaron has been serving several International clients since then with a diverse team specializing in Sustainability Research and Analytics. Inrate and Solaron have worked together since 2009 on several projects to analyze corporate sustainability performance in several Emerging markets using Inrate's specific methodology.
